Singapore's biggest and most active BTS ARMY community, The Bora Dot, closed out the weekend of 12–13 September with Dear ARMY, a two-day fan cafe event held at Nuldam Space, SCAPE, celebrating the birthdays of RM and Jung Kook (aka Kim Namjoon and Jeon Jungkook) in true ARMY fashion: equal parts sentimental, chaotic, and warm.
A Cafe Built for Letter-Writing

Nuldam Space is a vegan and vegetarian-friendly cafe from Korea, and Singapore marks its first venture outside its home country. Its signature concept, "Letter From The Future," invites guests to purchase a letter set containing a postcard, envelope, and wax beads for a hand-pressed wax seal, and write to their future selves or someone else, to be read a year later. The cafe also houses a photobooth run by TBD partner Pickypic Photobooth, letting visitors slip their photo strip into the envelope for good measure. For Dear ARMY, that photobooth featured exclusive RM- and Jung Kook-themed birthday photoframes.

It's easy to see why the meaningful format struck a chord with ARMY. Fans, who came dressed in a multitude of different BTS-themed OOTDs, didn't just write and go. A heartwarming number of ARMY meticulously decorated their postcards with the specially provided RM and Jung Kook stamps and stickers, and a fair number even came back for a second round, bringing their own wax beads, photos and washi tape for a proper afternoon of journaling. It was heartening also to see that some ARMYs had quietly donated sheets of extra stickers to supplement what TBD had provided!

By the end of the weekend, more than 300 letters had been written and posted, all of them bearing the customized BTS wax seals that TBD had specially made for the occasion.
Local Fan Art and Sold Out draws
No Bora Dot fan cafe event is complete without its ever-popular lucky draw, and Dear ARMY was no exception. The draw ran across four sessions over the two days, and every single session sold out, with fans walking away with prizes like ARMY bombs, albums, and official BT21 merch.

The event also doubled as a showcase for local talent, with stunning fan-made merchandise from talented ARtMYs Eirissenoir, The Magic Studio, rosegoldbangtan, and wujubeads sitting alongside The Bora Dot's own fan-made goods. From customised keychains to unique hand-drawn prints, tote bags and poca holders, the merch booths were a reminder of just how much creative energy runs through the BTS fan community in Singapore.

More Than Merch: A Weekend of Connection
Of course, no birthday celebration is complete without giving the members their flowers, and Dear ARMY leaned all the way in. Static displays and posters around the venue celebrated RM and Jung Kook's solo era wins - from their album achievements to their brand ambassadorships - and let's just say some corners of the cafe got more foot traffic than others. The seats in front of Namjoon in Diesel (mesh over a very generous stretch of thigh) and Jungkook in Calvin Klein (though what he was showing off beneath the open shirt was the main draw) were, unsurprisingly, the most desirable in the house. Standees of all the BTS members were also a hit all weekend, with a few lucky ARMYs taking them home at the end of the night on Sunday.

But as with every Bora Dot fan cafe event, the real highlight wasn't on the walls - it was in the room. With the community's Telegram forum newly opened ahead of the event, Dear ARMY became the first chance for many forum friends to meet face-to-face, fanning out together over two members' birthdays. The weekend even had a surprise guest: Mocha, a cavapomsky belonging to one of the forum's most active members, made an appearance to plenty of delighted photos.

As one Bora Dot co-founder put it:"Events like this really remind us why we started The Bora Dot in the first place. We love meeting online friends in person, and it's the best thing to see everyone come together to celebrate members' birthdays and milestones. We really hope that we can meet more of you at future events."
With BTS World Tour 'ARIRANG' bringing BTS back to Singapore this December, Dear ARMY was a fitting reminder of what makes this community special: proof that even a simple letter-writing afternoon can turn into a memorable BTS event in Singapore.
